Role Overview
The Security Technologies Specialist is responsible for implementing, managing, and maintaining enterprise security technologies within the organization's IT infrastructure. The role focuses on deploying and operating cybersecurity solutions, ensuring optimal performance of security platforms, and supporting the protection of enterprise networks, systems, and data.
The specialist will work closely with IT operations, cybersecurity teams, and vendors to ensure effective deployment, configuration, and monitoring of security technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deploy, configure, and maintain cybersecurity technologies across the enterprise.
- Manage and support security platforms including:
- Trellix (FireEye): CMS, NX, VX
- Trellix / McAfee security solutions
- Trend Micro: DDI, DDD, DDEI
- Infoblox DNS
- OpenText Voltage DAM
- Fortinet FortiSandbox
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and perform upgrades and patches.
- Support SOC teams in analyzing alerts and assisting with incident response.
- Integrate security tools with monitoring and SIEM platforms.
- Work with IT and security teams to ensure secure deployment of technologies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in security technologies or cybersecurity operations.
- Hands-on experience with enterprise security platforms and network security.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
