About Us: Paycore is a leading Fintech company building proprietary core banking technologies. We are detail-oriented, paranoid about security, and operate with a zero-trust mindset. We are looking for a hands-on technical leader to own our infrastructure security and compliance roadmap.
The Role: We are not looking for a maintenance guy; we are looking for a builder. You will be the guardian of our infrastructure, ensuring our proprietary Python-based core banking system is impenetrable and fully compliant with PCI-DSS standards.
Key Responsibilities (The Real Test):
- PCI-DSS Guardianship: Lead the implementation and maintenance of PCI-DSS v4.0 compliance from the ground up (Network, Data, Policy).
- Infrastructure Ownership: Manage our on-premise Data Center (Dell PowerEdge Servers, HSMs) and secure connectivity (Microwave/Fiber/VPNs).
- Security Architecture: Design and enforce secure network segmentation (VLANs, Firewalls) using Enterprise-grade equipment (Huawei/Cisco).
- Disaster Recovery: Architect and test real-world DR scenarios to ensure business continuity.
Requirements (Must Haves):
- Experience: 7+ years in System Engineering, with at least 3 years in a Fintech or Banking environment.
- Compliance: Proven track record of passing PCI-DSS audits. You must know the difference between compliant and secure.
- Tech Stack: Deep expertise in Linux (Hardening), Python (reading code to audit security), and Database Security.
- Hardware: Hands-on experience with Enterprise Routers (Huawei/Cisco) and HSM integration.
- Mindset: You think like a hacker to defend like a fortress. You trust nothing and verify everything.
