NextEra is seeking a dynamic Senior Account Director (CIS) to lead strategic account growth and digital transformation initiatives across the Cloud Infrastructure Solutions market.
The Senior Account Director (CIS) is responsible for driving revenue growth, managing strategic client relationships, and expanding market presence across the CIS region. This client-facing role focuses on executing sales strategy, developing new business opportunities, and supporting digital transformation initiatives for enterprise clients, while collaborating closely with internal delivery and solutioning teams to ensure successful deal execution and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Relationship Management
- Act as the primary sales contact for assigned CIS accounts
- Build and maintain strong relationships with senior client stakeholders (Director, VP, and select C-level levels)
- Develop a solid understanding of client business models, priorities, and technology needs
Business Development & Sales Execution
- Drive achievement of annual sales targets for the assigned CIS portfolio
- Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities including new logos, renewals, upselling, and cross-selling
- Manage the end-to-end sales cycle from opportunity identification through proposal development and deal closure
Industry & Market Understanding
- Maintain awareness of CIS market dynamics, customer challenges, and competitive landscape
- Position company offerings effectively in line with regional market needs
- Support development of value propositions aligned with client requirements
Solutioning & Internal Collaboration
- Work closely with pre-sales, solutioning, and delivery teams to shape competitive and feasible solutions
- Support preparation of proposals, RFP responses, and commercial negotiations
- Translate client requirements into clear business and technical scopes
Account Planning & Sales Governance
- Develop and maintain account plans and opportunity pipelines for assigned clients
- Provide accurate sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and reporting to leadership
- Ensure compliance with internal sales processes and governance standards
Market Intelligence & Strategic Input
- Track competitors, pricing trends, and client buying behavior in the CIS region
- Provide market feedback to leadership on emerging opportunities and risks
- Participate in client events, industry forums, and go-to-market initiatives
Revenue & Commercial Ownership
- Own revenue targets for assigned accounts and opportunities
- Support margin and commercial optimization in collaboration with finance and delivery teams
- Ensure deals are structured to meet commercial and risk guidelines
Education and Work Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in business, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 13 years of total professional experience in sales, account management, or business development
- Proven experience managing large enterprise or strategic accounts
- Demonstrated success in achieving or exceeding sales targets
- Exposure to regional enterprise clients and cross-border sales environments
