Burson is seeking a talented Senior Account Executive to join our vibrant Government & Public Affairs team. This is an exceptional opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping narratives and delivering impactful results for our diverse portfolio of UAE Government clients.
What You'll Do
- Act as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, delivering high-quality client service and day-to-day account management.
- Create and edit high-quality content including press releases, media Q&As, briefing documents, reports, and presentations.
- Build and maintain strong media relationships, pitch stories, and identify relevant news hooks aligned with client KPIs.
- Support media monitoring, monthly and quarterly reporting, and provide analysis and insights on coverage performance.
- Prepare weekly status reports and support with client counsel and strategic support.
- Contribute to new business research, ideas, and development of pitch decks.
- Stay informed on AI tools and best practices, applying them responsibly in line with WPP guidelines.
Experience That Contributes To Success
- Proven experience in PR, corporate communications, or media relations, supporting UAE or GCC government client accounts and campaigns.
- Existing media contacts and demonstrated experience pitching to journalists within the UAE and GCC.
- Excellent organisation, meticulous attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in monitoring, reporting, and performance evaluation of campaigns.
- Confident communicator with strong presentation and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging diverse stakeholders.
- A proactive, ambitious team player with the ability to work autonomously and lead by example.
- Bi-lingual Arabic & English highly desired.
