Job Brief:
Our client in the Oil and Gas industry is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to manage financial reporting, general ledger activities, reconciliations, and compliance processes. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate financial records, support audits, and maintain compliance with local regulations and company policies.
Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee general ledger accounting and ensure accurate recording of financial transactions.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
- Perform bank reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and local regulatory requirements.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities.
- Coordinate with auditors during internal and external audits.
- Maintain proper documentation and financial records.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance,or a related field.
- Minimum5 to 8 yearsof accounting experience, preferably in theOil and Gas industry.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
- Proficiency inERP systems and MS Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
