Our client is looking for a Senior Accountant (Arabic Speaker) to manage end-to-end accounting activities, ensure accuracy, compliance, and provide reliable financial insights to support business decision-making. Industry-specific experience is not required, making this an excellent opportunity for a strong accounting professional with solid fundamentals and leadership maturity.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting activities including general ledger, journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end and year-end closing
- Prepare accurate financial statements, reports, and management accounts in a timely manner
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and regulatory requirements
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable, cash flow monitoring, and bank reconciliations
- Review and validate financial data to ensure accuracy and consistency across records
- Support audits by preparing documentation and responding to audit queries
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
- Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency and controls
- Provide guidance and support to junior accounting staff where required
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Senior-level accounting experience with strong hands-on exposure to core accounting functions
- Professional certification such as ACCA, CPA, CA, or CMA is an advantage
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Fluent in Arabic with good working proficiency in English
- High attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work independently
