Senior Accountant - Arabic Speakers

Prepare, review, and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with IFRS and regulatory requirements.

Manage general ledger activities, including journal entries, accruals, provisions, and reconciliations.

Oversee accounting for real estate assets / financial instruments / investment portfolios, including revenue recognition, asset valuation, depreciation, and impairment.

Ensure accurate accounting of leases, loans, mortgages, investments, and asset acquisitions/disposals.

Monitor cash flow, working capital, and bank reconciliations; liaise with banks and financial institutions.

Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis; provide financial insights to senior management.

Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and external regulatory requirements.

Coordinate with external auditors, internal auditors, and regulatory bodies during audits and reviews.

Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.

Support tax filings, VAT returns, and statutory reporting as per local regulations.

Participate in system enhancements, process improvements, and automation of accounting functions.
