Role Description The Senior Accountant role is a full-time, on-site position based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The Senior Accountant will oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger maintenance, accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and month-end closing activities. This role will prepare financial statements, management reports, and cash flow forecasts, ensuring accuracy, compliance with applicable regulations, and alignment with clinic policies. The Senior Accountant will manage budgeting and cost control, support audits, improve financial processes, and provide financial insights to leadership to support strategic decision-making. Collaboration with operations, administration, and management teams is essential to maintain efficient financial workflows and support the clinic's growth.
Qualifications
- Strong financial accounting and reporting skills, including general ledger management, financial statement preparation, and month-end closing.
- Proficiency in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support cost control and strategic planning.
- Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash management, including bank reconciliations and payment processing.
- Knowledge of accounting standards, tax regulations, and compliance requirements relevant to the United Arab Emirates.
- Hands-on experience with accounting software and ERP systems, as well as strong MS Excel skills.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational abilities, and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and management.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, or CMA are an advantage.
- Prior experience in a senior accounting role; experience in healthcare or aesthetic clinics is a plus.
- Ability to work on-site in Dubai and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced clinical environment.
