Senior Accountant

Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a minimum 7-10 years of accounting experience in the manufacturing industry. This role requires strong expertise in ERP systems, local taxation (VAT, corporate tax), and advanced Excel, along with the ability to perform analytical and business reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for full P&L statements, financial transactions, book-keeping, general ledger reconciliations, bank reconciliations and month-end closing processes.
• Should possess in depth experience with cash flow forecasting and cash flow management.
• Maintain and manage Accounts Receivable and Payables.
• Should have thorough understanding in dealing with banks and understanding of bank facilities such as Bill discounting, Letter of Credit, Trade finance etc.
• Ensure compliance with local taxation laws (VAT, corporate tax) and be responsible for tax filings.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and business performance reports.
• Manage cost accounting and inventory valuation in line with manufacturing standards.
• Ensure accurate financial reporting by leveraging ERP systems and Excel for data analysis.
• Support internal and external audits, ensuring adherence to financial policies and regulations.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to improve financial efficiency and decision-making.
• Should have experience in Payroll management and WPS registration.
• Should be experienced in preparing Budget vs Actual reports.
• Should be open to any additional tasks given by the top management.

Requirements:

• BCom or equivalent qualification; CPA, ACCA, or CMA certification preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
• Strong knowledge of local taxation laws (VAT, corporate tax).
• Should be tech-savvy, proficient in ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.
• Strong analytical and business reporting capabilities.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
