Job Description:
Client is looking for a detail-oriented and experienced
Senior Accountant to join a dynamic team in the
audio-visual rental industry in Dubai. The ideal candidate must be proactive, organized, and able to manage multiple accounting responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly MIS reports including Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Cost Sheets, and Forecasted Budgets for management review.
- Process monthly payroll, including preparation of staff salary sheets and processing via WPS payroll system.
- Record asset purchases and prepare monthly depreciation reports.
- Manage multiple petty cash accounts and ensure daily reconciliation and reporting of cash balances.
- Conduct regular bank reconciliations and document all financial transactions with proper narrations.
- Coordinate with sales teams to raise timely invoices and ensure payment follow-ups before project execution.
- Analyze project costs and generate individual project profitability and revenue reports.
- Post purchase and sales entries with high accuracy to maintain precise accounts receivable and payable reports.
- Handle VAT filing procedures in compliance with UAE FTA regulations, preparing quarterly reports.
- Liaise with banking partners for account management and to facilitate financial operations.
- Ensure compliance with UAE Labor Laws concerning final settlements, gratuity, and annual leave salary processing
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, including at least 2-3 years in the UAE.
- Proficiency in Tally Prime accounting software is mandatory.
- Strong working knowledge of UAE VAT regulations and basic UAE labor law.
- Educational qualifications: M.Com / B.Com / MBA / BBA in Accounting or Finance.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Hindi.
- High attention to detail, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and deadlines
