Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Accountant to manage end-to-end accounting and financial control activities, with strong capability in financial reporting, ZATCA compliance, cost accounting, budgeting, and ERP operationsspecifically Odoo.

Key Responsibilities

Lead month-end and year-end closing activities; maintain accurate general ledger records and reconciliations.

Prepare and review financial statements and supporting schedules in line with applicable standards.

Prepare and submit statutory filings in a timely manner (VAT, WHT, Zakat/Income Tax as applicable) and maintain ZATCA-compliant documentation.

Manage cost accounting activities (cost centers, allocations, cost control) and deliver profitability analysis by client/service/project.

Develop budgets and forecasts (including client budgets), track performance vs. plan, and provide variance analysis and recommendations.

Operate and optimize accounting processes on Odoo ERP (GL, AP, AR, fixed assets, inventory/costing) and produce accurate management/statutory reports.

Support external audits and enhance internal controls, policies, and process efficiency.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Minimum 8 years of relevant accounting/finance experience.

Strong hands-on experience with ERP systems, specifically Odoo.

Practical knowledge of ZATCA compliance and statutory filings.

Solid experience in financial statement preparation, cost accounting, and budgeting.

Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.

• Professional certification (SOCPA / CPA / CMA) is an advantage.
