Senior Accountant - Manufacturing

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Manage general ledger, journal entries, and account reconciliations
• Oversee cost accounting, including production costs, inventory valuation, and variance analysis
• Monitor accounts receivable (AR) and accounts payable (AP) processes
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and statutory regulations
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning for manufacturing operations
• Analyze financial data to support management decision-making
• Coordinate with auditors and prepare schedules for statutory and internal audits

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 5 to 8+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
• Strong hands-on experience in cost accounting, inventory accounting, and variance analysis
• Solid understanding of accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP) and internal controls
• Experience handling audits and working with external auditors
• Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel skills
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams
