What you ll be doing
Verify, allocate, post and reconcile accounts payable and receivable, and bank statements,
Produce error-free accounting reports and present results in a clear manner
Prepare financial analyses and reports
Prepare revenue projections and forecasting expenditure
Assist in preparing and monitoring budgets, identifying patterns and suggesting improvements to resolve bottlenecks and improve spending
Assist with half year and year end audit preparations
Investigate and resolve audit findings, account discrepancies, and non-compliance issues
Contribute to the development of new or amended accounting systems, programs, and procedures
Support junior team member as required or assigned and contribute to enhance the team tribal knowledge
Perform other accounting duties as assigned and needed
Ensure compliance with IFRS
About you
4+ years of experience in Accounting and Finance
Working knowledge of tax laws and IFRS
Strong financial analysis skills
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Languages: Arabic and English (fluent level in verbal and written)
Strong organizational and time management skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
Ability to train and manage staff
Ability to work with little to no supervision
Previous Big 4 experience is a plus
