Senior Actuarial Analyst - Life

We are looking for an enthusiastic Senior Actuarial Analyst with Life insurance experience to join our Lux team in Dubai. Our GCC practice contains actuarial professionals with diverse exposure across geographies and disciplines. We are the first company in the MENA region certified by the Quality Assurance Scheme of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries UK. You will work alongside these experienced professionals on both client engagements and internal development projects, including pricing, reserving, IFRS17 and modelling. You will also gain exposure and opportunities to learn about other innovative propositions.

Responsibilities:

• Working as part of a project team implementing IFRS 17 across the region
• Assisting and working on various product development, pricing, modelling and reserving projects
• Prepare reports and presentations to communicate findings to clients
• Assist with regulatory compliance and financial reporting requirements
• Provide support in research and development

Requirements:

Essential:

• 2 to 5 years of experience in life actuarial consulting or the insurance industry
• 6 to 10 exam passes from the Institute & Faculty of Actuaries or equivalent
• Strong technical skills, including proficiency in MS Office.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities

Desired:

• Experience with IFRS 17, reserving & life pricing
• Familiarity with GCC insurance regulations
• Knowledge of tools such as FIS Prophet and Alteryx
• Self-motivation to achieve actuarial qualification, with demonstrated, consistent progress.
