The Admin & Facility Specialist will be responsible for ensuring that all facility processes and operations across our sites run smoothly. This includes overseeing the maintenance, ensuring safety, and managing the provision of accommodation, food, and beverage services to our employees on-site. The role will ensure that our facilities are aligned with company standards, providing a safe, efficient, and comfortable environment for all employees.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day management of all facility operations across the sites, ensuring that all utilities soft and hard services are functioning properly and efficiently
- Monitor and coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance schedules to ensure minimal disruption to operations
- Ensure that all buildings and infrastructure are well-maintained, clean, and compliant with relevant regulations
- Ensure that all employee accommodations on-site are maintained to a high standard, with proper facilities, and comfort
- Develop and implement pest control plans and programs throughout the facility and site to maintain a clean and safe environment
- Oversee the provision of food and beverage services for employees on-site, ensuring that catering meets company standards and employee satisfaction
- Maintain comprehensive records related to facility operations, maintenance schedules, accommodation allocations, and service contracts
- Provide regular reports, and any ongoing issues
- Lead or support any special facility-related projects, such as site renovations, new facility set-ups, or expansions
- Address employee concerns related to facility services promptly and efficiently
Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in facility management, business administration, engineering, or a related field
- 35 years of experience in facility management or a similar area, ideally with exposure to remote sites or the energy sector
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Familiarity with facility maintenance practices, health and safety standards, and service management
- Capable of effectively managing vendors and suppliers
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office and facility management software
- Proficient in English; Arabic is a plus
