Senior AML/CTF

Company: AICC Arabia Insurance Cooperative Company

Reporting to: Compliance Department Supervisor

Job Purpose

The Senior AML/CTF will be responsible for ensuring that the company complies with the regulations of the Insurance Authority (IA) in Saudi Arabia. The role involves monitoring financial transactions, implementing AML policies, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring the company adheres to all regulatory requirements.

Areas of Contribution and Responsibilities

Operational Involvement

Ensures company-wide compliance with AML/CTF regulations through effective monitoring, reporting, and policy implementation.

Compliance & Risk Management

Continuously monitors and enforces risk and compliance requirements to protect company operations from potential threats.

Customer Relationship Management

Maintains strong client relationships by efficiently addressing inquiries and ensuring high standards of service.

Report Development & Documentation

Provides accurate and timely data for reporting purposes to support informed decision-making and regulatory compliance.

Policies and Procedures

Strictly abides by AICC policies and procedures to ensure risk-free processes and error-free outcomes.

Communication & Working Relationships

Regularly communicates with internal and external stakeholders using effective written and verbal communication to ensure operational efficiency and proper coordination.

Framework, Boundaries, and Decision-Making Authority

The role operates within standardized work routines, practices, and procedures with clear and communicated work instructions. The job holder is expected to make routine decisions within the scope of responsibility and refer to direct supervision for guidance when required.

Role Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • IFCE Certification
  • Advanced courses or certifications in Insurance
  • CCO Certification

Experience

  • Minimum of two years of proven experience for holders of a technical degree.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Extensive knowledge of insurance industry concepts, practices, and procedures
  • Ability to coach and develop team participation in goal setting and work standards
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively in written and spoken English
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
