JOB PURPOSE

Analyse all aspects of the Car care business performance data for the assigned market (results, plans, execution, design and organization) and provide comprehensive reports to support strategic management decision making and contribute to the achievement of continuous operational excellence within Car Care.

Analysis
u2022 Collaborate with Retail Management to identify the business needs and understand the business processes in order to facilitate the effective development of required business solutions.
u2022 Support the development of strategic plans and business cases for new initiatives, product launches, and market expansion.
u2022 Assist the business in defining initiatives, conducting cost benefit analysis, determining operational feasibility studies etc. to facilitate the development of a comprehensive business case.
u2022 Generate high quality periodic and ad-hoc reports for line and senior management review and effective decision-making process.

Reporting
u2022 Establish reports and insights, in line with strategy and guidelines, to capture most important findings ready for communication towards management.
u2022 Prepare relevant materials for meetings and presentations, in line with the agreed-upon content to ensure that the information shared is relevant, correct and timely available.
u2022 Develop and implement reconciliation and exception reporting processes for the Car Care division to ensure accurate financial tracking and timely identification of discrepancies

Cost Control
u2022 Monitor the financial performance of a given area of activity versus budgets so that areas of unsatisfactory performance are identified and rectified promptly, and potential performance improvement opportunities are capitalized upon.
u2022 Develop standard procedures to manage and maintain business operational and financial objectives.

Process Optimization
u2022 Identify and support business process improvements and efficiencies that support Retail group business performance, improve customer satisfaction and drive innovation and growth.
u2022 Apply structured problem-solving efforts and track trends to identify barriers to effective and efficient performance and areas for possible optimization.
u2022 Identify critical areas where there is a business need to execute improvement projects by supporting the Business Process Optimization Manager in facilitating sessions with relevant employees.

Planning
u2022 Support the development of the 5-year business plan along with all the building blocks and associated assumptions.
u2022 Support operational planning for next year and roll out target of (sales, expansions, new concepts, new products, locations, regions, etc) based on data and analytics gathered.

External Market assessment
u2022 Utilise the most appropriate inputs in terms of data/information, both internal and external. Identify gaps in data/information relevant to projects.
u2022 Identify ways to analyse different market metrics and variable that can provide answers to current performance gaps or can inform decision makers on different drivers or derailers that can affect performance.
u2022 Monitor competitor activities and analyse their strategies, pricing, and product offerings (in collaboration with Business units)
u2022 Provide insights on market size, growth potential, and competitive landscape (in collaboration with Business units, Strategy and Market Research teams)

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

Minimum Qualification
u2022 Bacheloru2019s degree in marketing, business management or IT Data science or equivalent with 6 years
of experience in Retail industry. OR
u00A0
Minimum Experience & Knowledge & Skills
u2022 6 years of total work experience with Top tier or reputed management consulting experience ideally in Retail and fuel station segments and /or Retail industry experience in strategy, business planning and program management roles.
u2022 OR experience in business planning and performance analysis in Fuel Retail industry.
u2022 Advanced skills in Financial modelling and business intelligence tools, data science and AI
u2022 BI Dashboard development experience a plus.
u2022 Ability to multi-task and work in short deadlines.
u2022 Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to communicate (verbal and written) across
hierarchies from C suite to field staff.
u2022 Proactive, team player, collaborative, focused and goal oriented.
u2022 Knowledge of business workflows, operations processes and systems.
u2022 Innovative and conceptual thinking.
u2022 Communication and influencing skills.
