Senior Application Specialist

• Hiring: Senior Applications Specialist Learning Systems & Senior Software Engineer
• Location: Dubai (Onsite)
• Contract: 12 Months (Renewable based on performance and project requirements)

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Education Technology, or related field (Master's preferred)
• PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certification strongly preferred
• LMS or IT certifications (Blackboard, Moodle, ITIL, accessibility certifications) are an advantage

Experience Requirements:

• Expats: 79 years of experience in Learning Systems

Technical Skills Required:

Advanced administration of Blackboard Learn (Original & Ultra) and Moodle

Strong expertise in LTI 1.3/Advantage, SCORM, xAPI

Experience with SIS integrations, SAML2, OAuth2, LDAP/AD

Hands-on experience with REST APIs and webhooks

Grade passback automation and course provisioning workflows

Proficiency in SQL, data analytics, and dashboarding tools (Power BI / Tableau)

Scripting & automation using Python, Bash, or PHP

Experience in Linux and cloud environments (AWS / Azure)

Knowledge of instructional design principles

Strong understanding of WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility standards

Familiarity with security frameworks and microlearning technologies
