We are looking for a Senior Application Support Engineer to join our technical team and support our web and Windows-based applications. This role requires strong technical skills, hands-on troubleshooting experience, and the ability to communicate clearly with both technical teams and end users

Responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day technical support for web and desktop applications built using .NET, C#, VB, Typescript, and React
  • Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues, bugs, and user-reported incidents efficiently
  • Work closely with the development team to analyze, reproduce, and resolve reported problems
  • Perform root cause analysis and recommend long-term fixes or system improvements
  • Monitor application performance and identify recurring issues or enhancement opportunities
  • Support application deployments, updates, and configuration changes
  • Maintain clear documentation for solutions, known issues, and support procedures
  • Communicate with users professionally, ensuring issues are handled effectively and clearly
  • Support CI/CD pipelines in coordination with the DataOps / Application Support Lead
  • Champion automation and continuous improvement initiatives within operations and support
  • Coordinate with cybersecurity to ensure secure handling of incidents and user requests
  • Collaborate with developers to identify recurring issues and feed insights into backlog improvements
  • Use application management software and tools to investigate issues, collect performance statistics and create reports
  • Ensure operational readiness of all deployed applications, including environment stability and version tracking
  • Drive and implement monitoring tools, alert systems, and root cause analysis processes
  • Implement and maintain automated monitoring, alerting, and incident detection systems
  • Leverage AI-assisted tools, copilots, and operational agents to improve troubleshooting, log analysis, and incident response

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • 5-8 years of experience in application support or software development
  • Strong hands-on experience with C#, VB, .NET Framework / .NET Core, and web services
  • Solid knowledge of SQL Server, including writing and debugging SQL queries
  • Experience working with IIS, API integrations, and web application debugging
  • Good understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and version control systems such as Git or Azure DevOps
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with agile, DevOps, and ITIL service management principles
  • Strong knowledge of enterprise applications and web/mobile architectures
  • Experience with automation, scripting, and operational tools
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted support tools or agents
