Job Description

The Role

Key Responsibilities

Design Leadership

  • Lead and oversee the development of design concepts, presentations, and detailed documentation.
  • Translate client requirements into functional and innovative architectural solutions.
  • Ensure design excellence, consistency, and alignment with project vision and brand standards.
  • Review and critique design work to maintain the firm's design integrity.

Project Management

  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously across different stages of design and execution.
  • Prepare, monitor, and control project schedules, budgets, and resources.
  • Lead coordination between architecture, interior, landscape, MEP, and structural disciplines.
  • Conduct regular project reviews to ensure technical quality, code compliance, and constructability.

Client & Stakeholder Coordination

  • Serve as the main point of contact for clients and project stakeholders.
  • Lead presentations, design workshops, and coordination meetings.
  • Manage client expectations and ensure clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.

Technical & Documentation Oversight

  • Supervise preparation of architectural drawings, specifications, and tender documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with local authority codes, regulations, and international standards.
  • Review and approve shop drawings, material submittals, and site queries.
  • Provide design and technical support during the construction phase.

Team Leadership & Mentorship

  • Supervise and mentor junior architects and design staff.
  • Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment.
  • Support professional development and continuous improvement within the team.

Ideal Profile

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelors or Master's Degree in Architecture (B.Arch / M.Arch).
  • Minimum 1015 years of professional experience with a strong design and delivery portfolio.
  • Licensed Architect / Professional Registration (preferred).
  • Proven experience in managing medium to large-scale projects through all design stages.
  • Strong technical knowledge of construction detailing, building systems, and local regulations.
  • Proficiency in design and documentation software (AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Rhino, Adobe Suite, etc.).
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and leadership skills.
