Role Summary
The Senior Architect Engineer will play a pivotal role in overseeing and coordinating all architectural and construction-related activities for the Roshn 1B project. This position involves active participation in early-stage construction planning, site preparation, technical coordination, quality management, and direct supervision of on-site activities. The role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project success in terms of time, quality, and cost.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Senior Resident Engineer in early construction planning, including constructability reviews, material availability assessments, and initial site investigations with contractors
- Provide construction-related input for Project Procedures and the Project Quality Plan
- Develop site infrastructure requirements, prepare field staffing schedules, job descriptions, and construction equipment analyses
- Mobilize to site in advance of construction to supervise the implementation of temporary facilities and essential services (communications, housing, medical, transportation, and equipment)
- Establish and manage field operations in alignment with project contracts and HanmiGlobal standards
- Lead on-site construction activities, ensuring adherence to project objectives in time, quality, and cost
- Conduct weekly progress meetings and technical meetings to review advancement and address on-site issues
- Work with the Senior Resident Engineer to ensure adequate staffing for Field Control/Report systems
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports
- Review contractor progress and completion reports
- Support evaluation and discussion of contractor claims
- Review contractor valuations (payments)
- Prepare project close-out reports upon handover
- Fulfill any additional duties outlined in the Construction Division Manual
Qualifications & Requirements
- 10-12 years of relevant professional experience, preferably within a Project Management Consultancy (PMC) environment
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Architectural Engineering, or a related field
- Strong technical understanding of construction processes and architectural design
- Excellent communication, coordination, and leadership skills
