Job Title: Senior Architect Engineer

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Architect Engineer to lead the architectural design, coordination, and delivery of high-quality real estate and development projects across the UAE. The role involves managing design teams, coordinating with multi-disciplinary consultants, liaising with authorities, and ensuring projects are delivered in compliance with UAE regulations, client requirements, and consultancy standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead architectural design from concept through detailed design and construction stages
- Manage and review architectural drawings, details, and specifications
- Coordinate with structural, MEP, interior design, landscape, and BIM teams
- Ensure full compliance with UAE authorities regulations (DM, DDA, Trakhees, ADM, Civil Defense, etc.)
- Lead authority submission processes and manage comments until approvals are obtained
- Liaise with clients, developers, contractors, and government authorities
- Review and approve shop drawings, material submittals, and mock-ups
- Conduct and lead site inspections to ensure design intent and quality standards are met
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior architects and architectural engineers
- Identify design risks and propose practical, cost-effective architectural solutions
- Support project managers in meeting timelines, budgets, and quality objectives
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or Architectural Engineering (Master's degree is a plus)
- 712 years of relevant experience, with minimum 35 years in the UAE
- Proven experience working in an architectural consultancy or real estate developer environment
- Strong portfolio of residential, commercial, hospitality, or mixed-use projects in the UAE
- Professional membership (RIBA, AIA, or local equivalent) is an advantage
Technical Skills
- Expert proficiency in AutoCAD
- Strong working knowledge of Revit (BIM) and coordination workflows
- Experience with authority submission standards and BIM requirements
- Familiarity with visualization tools such as SketchUp, Lumion, Enscape, or similar
- Strong understanding of specifications, materials, and construction methodologies
- MS Office and report writing skills
Knowledge & Competencies
- In-depth knowledge of UAE building codes, zoning regulations, and authority approval processes
- Strong understanding of construction detailing, materials, and site execution
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
- High level of technical accuracy and design quality control

- Strong leadership and team management abilities
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in English (Arabic is a plus)
- Client-focused mindset with strong coordination and negotiation skills
