Role Definition
The Senior ARC BIM Coordinator works as part of the architectural design department, ensuring that discipline-specific models comply with required standards. They perform under the guidance and supervision of an Architectural BIM Manager or nominated supervisor.

Duties and responsibilities
- Prepare files for the team using an approved discipline template and project specifications
- Configure and maintain the project Common Data Environment (CDE) according to a BEP, assign access permissions, and establish design collaboration teams
- Oversee the design collaboration packages exchange
- Create and manage a model coordination space in ACC
- Create and manage a federated Navisworks model encompassing all disciplines
- Monitor ACC for compliance with BEP and office standards
- Perform regular model health audits of individual models, prepare health dashboards, manage results, and advise teams on correctional actions to be taken
- Perform regular visual inspections of federated models and manage the issue tracking process
- Set up and manage regular clash detections. Prepare clash dashboards and distribute them to relevant teams
- Review model submittals from contractors on behalf of Supervision (model health and visual inspection)
- Support BIM Manager in ensuring the delivery of information within the supply chain is in accordance with contract requirements. projects are compliant with EIR, project's BEP, and office BIM standards
- Assist with troubleshooting any model related issues. Advise on correctional measures to be taken or liaise with a vendor to reach a viable solution
- Support team members in advanced modelling tasks and family creation
- Maintain an updated library of software applications and manage deployment of the latest stable app versions to all required staff
- Review and propose new BIM tools and technologies and provide objective evaluation with the aim of improving project efficiency and quality
- Manage assignment of software licenses to team members during onboarding / offboarding
- Assist BIM Manager in preparation of a BEP and its accompanying documentation
- Assist BIM Manager in developing office BIM standards, discipline's library content, and training material
- Assist in the upskilling of production staff
Qualities and skills required
- Minimum of 6-8 years of experience in a similar BIM Management role on large scale projects, including spatial coordination, QAQC, data management, with strong background in modelling
- Mandatory proficiency in Autodesk Revit and Autodesk Navisworks Manage
- Experience in creating and managing ACC
- Practical knowledge of Revizto software
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerBI, Dynamo, Python, C#, Revit API and similar tools
- Knowledge of Rhino and Grasshopper would be an added value
- Demonstrated experience with multi-story building projects in a consulting or contracting role
- Previous experience with BIM projects during construction stage would be an added value
- Good command of English (written and spoken. Knowledge of other languages is an added value
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
- Completion of five or six-year architectural degree programme
- B. Archor B. Sc in Architecture, with proven track record of BIM responsibilities within a multidisciplinary design team
