SENIOR AUTHORITY ARCHITECT

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Authority Architect to lead authority submissions and approvals across Dubai's major regulatory bodies and master developers. This role requires deep technical expertise in navigating authority portals, comprehensive knowledge of UAE building codes, and the ability to coordinate multi-disciplinary design documentation to secure project approvals efficiently.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture (mandatory)
  • Minimum 8+ years of experience in authority approvals and submissions
  • G+12 or G+Unlimited accreditation (mandatory)
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Dubai authority portals, including DDA, DM, and TRAKHEES
  • Extensive experience with master developer portals, including EMAAR, NAKHEEL, and other major developers
  • Expert knowledge of Civil Defence, RTA, DEWA, and ETISALAT approval processes
  • Advanced understanding of UAE building codes and regulatory requirements
  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex authority submission processes from initial submission through final approval
  • Strong technical coordination skills across architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines

Responsibilities

  • Lead all authority submissions and manage approval processes across multiple regulatory bodies and master developers
  • Prepare comprehensive feasibility reports analyzing site constraints, code compliance, and development potential
  • Ensure full compliance with UAE building codes, life safety regulations, and authority-specific requirements
  • Coordinate architectural drawings with structural and MEP consultants to ensure integrated, compliant documentation
  • Navigate DDA, DM, TRAKHEES portals and manage submissions through to final approval
  • Interface with master developer authorities including EMAAR, NAKHEEL and others to secure NOCs and approvals
  • Manage Civil Defence, RTA, DEWA, and ETISALAT approval processes and coordinate utility connections
  • Review and respond to authority comments, preparing revised submissions and supporting documentation
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of evolving building codes, regulations, and authority requirements
  • Mentor junior architects on authority processes and regulatory compliance
