About The Role
HireOn is sourcing this position for its reputed client in Abu Dhabi. We are looking for a
Senior Automation & AI Quality Engineer to lead quality assurance activities across next-generation AI platforms. The role involves ensuring high standards of functionality, reliability, and performance while testing AI models, APIs, and end-to-end web systems. You will be at the forefront of validating model accuracy, assessing data quality, and enhancing user experience within intelligent software ecosystems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and execute detailed test cases to validate system features, APIs, and end-to-end integrations.
- Build and maintain automation frameworks using Java-based tools such as Selenium, TestNG, or similar technologies.
- Perform manual, exploratory, and AI-output testing to ensure model predictions and workflows meet quality expectations.
- Evaluate and validate training datasets, detect data inconsistencies, and assess model-generated responses.
- Document, log, and track issues effectively using JIRA or other defect management systems.
- Collaborate closely with Machine Learning, Development, and Automation teams to define QA strategies, acceptance criteria, and validation standards.
- Participate in regression, system integration, and release testing cycles.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 5 to 8+ years of hands-on experience in software quality assurance and testing.
- Strong expertise in test automation using Java.
- Proficient understanding of Agile processes, QA methodologies, and the complete testing lifecycle.
- Experience with test management tools like TestRail or Zephyr, and issue tracking tools such as JIRA or Azure DevOps.
- Solid background in API testing, preferably with Postman.
- Exceptional analytical thinking, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred (Nice To Have)
- Familiarity with AI/ML systems, particularly testing LLMs, NLP, or computer vision outputs.
- Experience validating training data quality, assessing AI model performance, and ensuring stability in production environments.
