We are seeking a resourceful and experienced Senior AWS DevOps Engineer to enhance our cloud-based infrastructure and streamline our deployment processes in our growing healthcare organization. This role offers the opportunity to lead the design and implementation of robust, scalable solutions that improve patient care delivery and operational efficiency while ensuring the highest level of security and compliance with regulatory standards.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Design, implement, and maintain AWS infrastructure for secure, scalable, and resilient applications.
- Automate deployment and operations processes using tools such as AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, or Ansible.
- Monitor system performance and availability; troubleshoot and resolve issues as they arise.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate CI/CD pipelines and deliver high-quality software releases.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and internal security policies in all implementations.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and AWS services to continuously improve infrastructure and processes.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership within the team.
REQUIREMENTS- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps engineering, with a focus on AWS cloud services.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or similar.
- Strong knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and microservices architecture.
- Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline.
- Familiarity with healthcare compliance standards such as HIPAA and HITRUST.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within cross-functional teams.
