Position Title: Senior Backend Engineer Java

Location: Doha, Qatar

Experience: 6+ years

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop robust backend services using Java and Spring Boot

Build and expose secure RESTful APIs

Integrate backend services with IBM Business Automation Workflow (BAW)

Ensure scalability, performance, security, and reliability

Support integrations with external governmental and financial systems

Participate in architecture design, code reviews, and technical governance

Required Skills & Experience

Minimum 6 years of Java backend development experience

Strong expertise in Java, Spring / Spring Boot

Experience with microservices or modular enterprise architectures

Strong knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle, MySQL)

Experience in regulated or enterprise-scale platforms is a plus

Prior BPM or workflow integration experience is a plus
