Senior Bank Accountant

Kasrawy for the Automobile Industry Industrial Zone October, Giza, Egypt

Key Responsibilities:

- Record and monitor all bank transactions, including receipts, payments, transfers, and bank charges

- Prepare daily and monthly bank reconciliations for all company bank accounts

- Ensure timely posting of bank entries in the accounting system

- Monitor cash balances and support short-term cash flow planning

- Follow up on incoming customer payments and coordinate with Accounts Receivable

- Process bank-related payments such as supplier transfers, payroll, taxes, customs, and utilities

- Handle bank facilities, including letters of credit (LCs), letters of guarantee (LGs), and bank loans

- Coordinate with banks regarding documentation, confirmations, and discrepancies

- Maintain proper documentation for all banking transactions and facilities

- Support month-end and year-end closing activities related to cash and bank accounts

- Assist internal and external auditors by providing bank confirmations and supporting schedules

- Ensure compliance with company policies and Egyptian banking and financial regulations

Qualifications & Experience:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

- 5-7 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within a manufacturing or automotive company

- Good knowledge of banking operations, cash management, and financial controls

- Experience handling LCs and LGs is highly preferred

- Familiarity with ERP systems (Oracle, SAP preferred)

- Strong understanding of Egyptian financial and banking practices

- Strong analytical and reconciliation skills

- High attention to detail and accuracy

- Ability to handle multiple bank accounts and high transaction volumes

- Strong organizational and time management skills

- Good communication and coordination skills

- Proficient in MS Excel

- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

- English: Good working proficiency (written and spoken)
