Big Data & Analytics Center of Excellence, data consulting and data engineering branch at SoftServe. Starting as a group of three enthusiasts back in 2013, hundreds of Data Engineers and Architects nowadays build Data & Analytics end-to-end solutions from strategy through technical design and PoC to full-scale implementation. We have customers in Healthcare, Finance, Manufacturing, Retail, and Energy domains.

We hold top-level partnership statuses with all the major cloud providers and collaborate with many technology partners like AWS, GCP, Microsoft, Databricks, Snowflake, Confluent, and others.

IF YOU ARE

6+ years of relevant experience in data engineering

High proficiency in SQL and Python; experience with additional languages (Scala / Java) is a plus

Strong experience with Spark (PySpark, Spark SQL), including understanding of how to optimize jobs (memory, shuffle, parallelism)

Hands-on experience with Databricks

Experience using VS Code for development; experience with Git for version control, branching strategies, merging, etc.

Proficiency with cloud environments, specifically Azure Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS), Azure SQL or SQL DW

Familiarity with real-time data or streaming technologies (e.g., Kafka, Spark Streaming)

Strong understanding of data modeling (dimensional, relational), schema evolution, and open table formats

Good to have experience in the Healthcare domain

Good to have Databricks or Azure certifications
