Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled BIM professional specialising in Autodesk Revit and advanced coordination workflows to lead high-fidelity LOD 400 modeling and LOD 500 digital handover deliverables for ICT and Security systems.
This role focuses on ELV systems only excluding core MEP design and requires deep expertise in fabrication-level modeling, Navisworks coordination, digital asset data structuring, and operational handover readiness.
The candidate must understand how ICT and Security systems integrate spatially and digitally within large-scale developments, without undertaking mechanical or electrical design responsibility.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Advanced Revit Modeling (LOD 400 ELV Systems)
- Develop and manage LOD 400 fabrication-level models for:
- ICT infrastructure
- Structured cabling systems
- Containment systems
- Security systems (CCTV, ACS, PSIM, control rooms)
- Ensure geometric accuracy suitable for installation and coordination.
- Produce coordinated shop-drawing-level model outputs.
- Align modeling standards with ISO 19650 workflows.
2. Clash Detection & ELV Coordination
- Lead Navisworks clash detection and coordination for ELV scope.
- Manage federated models with Architecture, Structure and MEP (interface coordination only).
- Resolve containment, routing and spatial interface issues.
- Coordinate with contractors and fabricators at installation level.
3. LOD 400 to LOD 500 Transition
- Manage progression from:
- LOD 400(installation/fabrication geometry)
- ToLOD 500(verified as-built and asset data-rich models)
- Incorporate site redlines and contractor updates.
- Validate model accuracy prior to digital handover.
4. Data Integration & Digital Handover
- Structure ELV asset data for operational use.
- Prepare handover models aligned with:
- COBie (Construction Operations Building Information Exchange)
- Employer Information Requirements (EIR)
- Asset Information Model (AIM) standards
- Coordinate with facility management teams to ensure usable operational datasets.
5. ICT & Security Technical Coordination
- Coordinate spatial and infrastructure requirements for:
- Data rooms and telecom spaces
- Rack layouts and cabinet positioning
- CCTV camera positioning and coverage zones
- Access control hardware interfaces
- ELV containment systems
- Understand power interface requirements (without undertaking electrical design).
- Coordinate integration with BMS and smart building platforms at interface level.
Technical RequirementsSoftware Mastery
- Advanced proficiency inAutodesk Revit(essential).
- Strong working knowledge ofNavisworksfor LOD 400 clash detection and coordination.
- Familiarity with:
- BIM 360 / ACC
- COBie data exports
- IFC workflows and model interoperability
Detailed Knowledge
- Strong understanding of:
- LOD definitions and practical application.
- Fabrication-level modeling for ELV systems.
- Transition from LOD 400 (geometric accuracy) to LOD 500 (operational asset data).
- Experience validating as-built conditions within BIM environments.
Experience
- 610 years in BIM coordination or digital delivery.
- Experience on large-scale mixed-use, hospitality, aviation, or infrastructure projects.
- Proven ELV / ICT / Security system modeling experience.
- Experience delivering models to operational stage (LOD 500).
