Senior BIM Coordinator

About the Job

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Senior BIM Coordinator to support project design coordination and digital delivery through accurate modeling, clash detection, data validation, and reporting. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that BIM models meet project specifications and BIM standards, resolving design clashes, preparing technical reports, and supporting construction workflows throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

Clash Detection & Coordination:

-Perform clash detection across multidisciplinary BIM models and produce detailed clash detection reports.

- Identify and resolve major clashes during the design phase in coordination with relevant design and engineering teams.

Model Review & Visual Inspection:

-Carry out visual inspections and reviews of BIM models.

-Prepare comprehensive visual inspection reports highlighting model status and issues.

BIM Family Creation & Modeling:

-Model and deliver requested BIM/Revit families in line with project requirements and standards.

-Update and maintain 3D models to reflect design changes and approved revisions.

Data Validation & Construction Process Support:

-Validate model data to ensure all project elements align with construction workflows and processes.

-Check quantities, attributes, and parameters to maintain accuracy of digital project information.

BIM Standards & Parameter Control:

-Control model parameters and ensure full compliance with BIM standards and project specifications.

-Prepare regular reports on model quality, parameter status, and standards compliance.

Requirements:

Education:

-Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.

-Hands-on experience in BIM modeling and coordination within design or construction projects.

Skills

-Strong knowledge of BIM standards, execution plans, and digital construction processes.

-Proficiency in clash detection and BIM quality assurance workflows.

-Strong reporting, documentation, and coordination skills.

Software Proficiency:

-Autodesk Revit

-Navisworks / BIM 360 or similar clash detection tools

-Microsoft Office applications for report preparation
