Job Description

Job Purpose

The Senior Business Analyst will play a key role in analyzing and supporting Shory's products and business initiatives. This role focuses on market analysis, pricing proposals, competitor monitoring, and translating business needs into actionable insights that align with organizational objectives. The position involves analyzing internal and external data, identifying trends, and reporting findings to senior management to support informed decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

Business Analysis & Development

  • Conduct market research, feasibility studies, and competitor analysis to support product and business initiatives.
  • Analyze internal and external data to identify market trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Support pricing proposals aligned with demographics, market behavior, and business objectives.
  • Identify operational, financial, and technological risks and recommend mitigation actions.
  • Assess business processes and system inefficiencies and propose improvement initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities to increase customer adoption and satisfaction.

Requirements & Project Support

  • Coordinate requirements gathering and support the development of user stories for development teams.
  • Contribute to project-level analysis, including business and system requirements, scope matrices, use cases, sequence diagrams, and UAT plans.
  • Collaborate closely with development and QA teams to ensure accurate implementation and testing of requirements.
  • Develop and execute test plans and support UAT activities.
  • Maintain project documentation, issue logs, schedules, and progress reports.

Stakeholder Management

  • Act as a liaison between Business, Operations, and IT to support system enhancements and implementations.
  • Communicate insights, updates, and findings through presentations, reports, and executive updates.
  • Facilitate meetings and workshops with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support project feasibility reviews by validating assumptions and financial components.

Research & Reporting

  • Prepare competitive intelligence reports highlighting market activity and competitor initiatives.
  • Compile market intelligence from multiple sources, including industry publications and research partners.
  • Coordinate with external research consultants to ensure delivery aligns with approved requirements.
  • Deliver accurate business analysis and reports to support strategic planning.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Insurance, Business, Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
  • 68 years of experience in one or more of the following industries: insurance, banking, telecom, management consulting, or technical consulting.
  • Exposure to Agile software development environments is required.
  • Arabic Language is a must
  • Experience within insurance or fintech environments is a strong advantage.

  • Ability to translate complex business needs into clear technical and functional requirements.
