Job Description
We are looking for an experienced and detail-orientedSenior Business Analystto join our team. The ideal candidate will act as a bridge between stakeholders and technical teams, gathering and analyzing business requirements to deliver efficient and innovative solutions. You'll play a critical role in driving process improvements, ensuring alignment with business goals, and supporting strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Requirements Gathering & Analysis
- Engage with stakeholders to identify and document business needs, objectives, and requirements.
- Develop clear and detailed business requirement documents (BRDs) and epics for tech team with cooperation with design team.
- Analyze and translate business requirements into technical specifications for development teams.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Serve as the primary liaison between business units, technology teams, and management.
- Facilitate workshops, meetings, and discussions to ensure alignment across all stakeholders.
- Provide actionable recommendations to solve business challenges or improve processes.
Process Improvement
- Evaluate existing business processes and identify areas for improvement or optimization.
- Design workflows, models, and use cases to support process enhancements.
- Define and implement best practices for requirements documentation and analysis.
- Develop end-to-end BRDs with all edge cases covered.
Project Oversight
- Collaborate with project managers to ensure project timelines and deliverables align with business objectives.
- Monitor and track project progress, escalating risks or roadblocks as needed.
- Conduct gap analyses and impact assessments for new projects and initiatives.
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Analyze and interpret business data to provide insights and recommendations.
- Create reports, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Assist in defining key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics for business success.
Qualifications
Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in business analysis or a related role, with at least 2 years in a senior or leadership capacity.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering complex business solutions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in tools like Microsoft Excel, Tableau, or other data visualization tools.
- Experience with process modeling and diagramming tools (e.g., FigJam, Lucidchart).
- Experience with Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.
- Ability to conduct daily processes with the tech team and align with all stakeholders.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in FinTech, SaaS platforms, innovation technology.
- Knowledge of SQL and database querying.
- Certification in business analysis (e.g., CBAP, CCBA, ECBA, or PMI-PBA).
- Experience with software development lifecycles (SDLC) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
