As we continue our regional expansion, we are looking for an ambitious and commercially driven Business Development Manager to help grow our client portfolio across Egypt and the GCC.
Position Summary
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strategic client relationships, and managing the complete sales lifecycle from lead generation to contract signing.
The ideal candidate has a strong network within the technology sector, understands software and digital transformation services, and possesses a proven track record of closing B2B deals with medium and large organizations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute business development strategies aligned with the company's growth objectives.
- Generate qualified sales opportunities through networking, referrals, cold outreach, events, and strategic partnerships.
- Identify new business opportunities within Egypt and GCC markets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers and executive stakeholders.
- Lead discovery meetings to understand client challenges and business requirements.
- Collaborate closely with technical teams to define solution scope and prepare tailored proposals.
- Manage the complete sales cycle from prospecting through negotiation, proposal submission, and contract closure.
- Prepare commercial proposals, presentations, quotations, and Statements of Work (SOWs).
- Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and regularly update CRM records.
- Represent Determinds at networking events, conferences, and client meetings.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities.
- Support the development and maintenance of company portfolios, case studies, and marketing collateral.
- Collaborate with Marketing to strengthen the company's brand presence and lead generation initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 4–8 years of Business Development or B2B Sales experience within one or more of the following industries: (Software Development,Information Technology,Digital Transformation,FinTech,Healthcare Technology (HealthTech), Enterprise Solutions)
- Fluency in English is a must.
- Proven experience selling technology solutions and software services.
- Preferably a Cairo resident.
- Experience managing the full sales lifecycle independently.
- Demonstrated success in closing medium to large-value B2B contracts.
- Experience working with clients in Egypt and/or GCC markets.
- Existing professional network and industry connections are highly preferred.
- Experience collaborating with technical delivery teams.
- Experience with CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Knowledge of proposal management and portfolio development is considered an advantage.
- Marketing experience or exposure to digital marketing initiatives is a plus.
