Role Objective
The Senior Business Developer is responsible for identifying long-term strategic opportunities and creating new revenue streams for Mega Build Up. Unlike a traditional sales role, this position focuses on opening doors, establishing high-level partnerships with vendors (Dell, Cisco, HP, etc.), and securing large-scale infrastructure projects through strategic networking and market analysis.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Market Expansion: Identify and penetrate untapped sectors (e.g., Fintech, EdTech, or Green Energy) requiring robust IT infrastructure.
- Partnership Management: Build and maintain strategic alliances with global IT vendors and local distributors to secure better pricing and exclusive project support.
- Pre-Sales Orchestration: Lead the initial phase of the Solution Selling cycle, coordinating with technical teams to draft high-level proposals and feasibility studies.
- Tender Strategy: Identify and evaluate government and private sector mega-tenders; manage the relationship with consultants and decision-makers during the bidding phase.
- Brand Positioning: Represent Mega Build Up at industry conferences and networking events to build a thought leadership presence in the market.
- Revenue Forecasting: Provide the management with long-term (6-12 month) pipeline forecasts based on market trends and upcoming national projects.
Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Telecom/Computer) or Business. An MBA is highly preferred for this strategic level.
- Technical Savvy: Deep understanding of Data Centers, Hybrid Cloud Solutions, and Cybersecurity infrastructure.
- Networking: Must have a Gold List of contacts in the Egyptian IT procurement landscape.
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to look beyond a single transaction and build a 2-year growth roadmap.
- Languages: Native Arabic and Professional Business English (required for vendor negotiations).
