Role Overview
The Business Development Executive will support revenue growth by acquiring and managing pharmaceutical clients for marketing agency services. The role focuses on developing client relationships, pitching marketing solutions, and supporting account growth within the pharma sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within pharmaceutical and healthcare companies.
- Build relationships with Brand Managers, Product Managers, and Marketing teams.
- Support proposal preparation, presentations, and client pitches.
- Coordinate with internal creative, digital, and medical teams to deliver compliant marketing solutions.
- Maintain and grow existing client accounts.
- Track leads, pipelines, and sales performance.
- Stay updated on pharmaceutical marketing trends and competitor activity.
- Ensure all activities comply with pharma marketing regulations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Pharmacy, or a related field.
- 35 years of experience in business development or sales within marketing agencies serving pharmaceutical clients.
- Good understanding of pharmaceutical marketing and regulatory requirements.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities.
