Job Summary

We are seeking adynamic and results-driven Senior Business Development Executiveto identify new business opportunities, build strong client relationships, and drive revenue growth across theAgriculture and Retail sectors.

This role requires a strategic thinker with strong sales acumen, market insight, and a proven ability to grow partnerships and close high-value deals in complex supply-chain-driven industries.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities to promote GS1 Egypt's solutions and services across theagriculture and retail markets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and industry stakeholders.
  • Develop and execute strategic business development plans aligned with revenue and growth targets.
  • Conduct market research to analyze industry trends, competitor activity, and customer needs.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Sales, Marketing, Operations, Product) to ensure aligned go-to-market strategies.
  • Deliver compelling presentations, pitches, and proposals to prospective clients and partners.
  • Negotiate and close high-value deals to expand market penetration and long-term partnerships.
  • Track, analyze, and report business development performance, providing actionable insights for continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree inAgriculture, Agribusiness, Agricultural Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 5 7 years of experiencein business development, sales, or strategic partnerships withinAgriculture, Retail, FMCG, Food, or Supply Chainrelated industries.
  • Strong understanding ofsupply chains, traceability, standards, and market regulationsrelevant to agriculture or retail.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and building long-term client relationships.
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven business decisions.
  • Experience working withfood producers, retailers, exporters, distributors, cooperatives, or government entitiesis a plus.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems, MS Office, and digital sales tools.
  • Car owner is a must(field visits and client meetings required).
