Job Summary
We are seeking adynamic and results-driven Senior Business Development Executiveto identify new business opportunities, build strong client relationships, and drive revenue growth across theAgriculture and Retail sectors.
This role requires a strategic thinker with strong sales acumen, market insight, and a proven ability to grow partnerships and close high-value deals in complex supply-chain-driven industries.
Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities to promote GS1 Egypt's solutions and services across theagriculture and retail markets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and industry stakeholders.
- Develop and execute strategic business development plans aligned with revenue and growth targets.
- Conduct market research to analyze industry trends, competitor activity, and customer needs.
- Collaborate with internal teams (Sales, Marketing, Operations, Product) to ensure aligned go-to-market strategies.
- Deliver compelling presentations, pitches, and proposals to prospective clients and partners.
- Negotiate and close high-value deals to expand market penetration and long-term partnerships.
- Track, analyze, and report business development performance, providing actionable insights for continuous improvement.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's degree inAgriculture, Agribusiness, Agricultural Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- 5 7 years of experiencein business development, sales, or strategic partnerships withinAgriculture, Retail, FMCG, Food, or Supply Chainrelated industries.
- Strong understanding ofsupply chains, traceability, standards, and market regulationsrelevant to agriculture or retail.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and building long-term client relationships.
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven business decisions.
- Experience working withfood producers, retailers, exporters, distributors, cooperatives, or government entitiesis a plus.
- Proficiency in CRM systems, MS Office, and digital sales tools.
- Car owner is a must(field visits and client meetings required).
