Senior Business Intelligence Developer

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Power BI Developerwith over 7 years of experience in BI solutions, data visualization, and analytics. The ideal candidate should possess strong experience in Power BI installation, configuration, and intuitive dashboard development ,

with excellent communication skills to understand and translate customer needs into actionable BI solutions.

This role also requires advanced SQL scripting, strong problem-solving and analytical abilities , and the capability to lead engagements independently.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the end-to-end design, development, and deployment of interactive and visually compelling Power BI dashboards and reports.

Perform installation, setup, configuration, and maintenance of Power BI gateways and services.

Work closely with business stakeholders to understandrequirements, KPIs, and translate business needs into technical specifications.

Optimize existing dashboards and reports for performance, usability, and scalability .

Conduct data modeling and transformation using Power Query (M) and DAX.

Write and optimise complex SQL queries and scriptsfor data extraction and transformation.

Provide technical leadership in BI solutions

Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data quality, data access, and report delivery.

Collaborate with data engineers, DBAs, and other IT teams to ensure data consistency and accuracy.

Deliver training session sand create documentation to empower end -users and business teams.

- Required Skills & Qualifications:

7+ years of hands -on experience in Power BI development, including dashboard creation, DAX, Power Query, and data modeling. Proven experience with Power BI service installation, gateway configuration, and environment setup.

Strong knowledge of SQL, including complex joins, CTEs, indexing, and performance tuning. Excellent analytical and problem-solvingskills with attention to detail.

Ability to communicate effectively with customers , understand their business processes, and offer tailored BI solutions. Strong understanding of data warehousing concept sand ETL pipelines.

Familiarity with Row-Level Security (RLS)and governance practices in Power BI.

Exposure to other visualization tools like Tableau, QlikView, etc., is a bonus. Soft Skills:
