Job Description
Tactical
- Build a buying plan for the assigned PRs/material group considering customer need, product trends
and historic records.
- Monitor PR to PO process and identify development opportunities
Operational (Core)
- Handle day to day procurement transactions for assigned PRs/material group.
- Contact supplier/s and/or service provider/s to obtain technical and commercial quotations.
- Validate, analyze, and negotiate commercial quotations.
- Monitor delivery compliance and circulate related reports to concerned stakeholders.
- Obtain the required approval prior placing commitment to supplier.
- Place official purchase order via SAP.
- Maintain material and vendor master records.
- Support new product development participate in new project based on purchasing manager
guidance.
- Conduct business meetings with vendors and stakeholders.
- Develop and prepare business reports.
Skills
- SAP Knowledge & Food Commodities experience
- CPP,CISCP, CPPM are advantages
- Business administration or Engineering Degree
- Strategic Sourcing, managing high value & Critical spend categories
- Minimum 5+ yrs of experience in Supply Chain Management
