We are builders, problem-solvers, and risk-takers. If you are passionate about fashion, driven by commercial impact, and excited to shape private label fashion at scale, this is your opportunity to make a real difference.

What you'll do:

As a Senior Buyer Private Label Fashion, you will own and drive the commercial and creative success of assigned categories. You will combine strong fashion instinct with data-led decision-making to build relevant, profitable, and trend-right assortments, while leading supplier relationships and mentoring junior team members.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Lead vendor selection and develop strong, long-term partnerships with regional and global suppliers
  • Own end-to-end category buying strategies aligned to sales growth, margin, stock turn, and brand objectives
  • Translate fashion trends, customer insights, and market intelligence into commercially successful private label assortments
  • Perform weekly sales and stock analysis to ensure performance is tracking against sales plans and KPIs
  • Review and manage delivery plans in line with sales targets, category mix, pricing architecture, and inventory health
  • Drive pricing strategies through strong product, trend, and cost analysis while managing spend within budgetary requirements
  • Negotiate cost prices, MOQs, margins, and improved commercial and credit terms to achieve target margins across the full product lifecycle, including clearance
  • Maintain deep awareness of competitors, market movements, and customer behavior to inform buying decisions and product performance evaluation
  • Attend regional and international markets as required to support sourcing, product development, and trend direction
  • Proactively identify strong and weak performers, optimizing assortments accordingly and providing regular insights and recommendations to senior management
  • Build and manage robust, preferential supplier relationships to ensure quality, speed, and on-time delivery
  • Ensure timely and accurate stock replenishment in line with trading performance
  • Maximize sales and margin through strong understanding of price positioning, target cost structures, and the impact of design and product specifications on profitability
  • Coach, guide, and inspire junior buyers and assistants, strengthening both commercial and fashion capability within the team
  • Collaborate closely with design, planning, merchandising, and marketing teams to deliver cohesive and compelling private label ranges

What you'll need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Fashion, or a related field
  • Minimum of 6 years experience in buying, merchandising, or a similar commercial role, preferably within private label fashion
  • Strong fashion sensibility and high product awareness; candidates with a proven fashion mindset will be prioritized
  • Solid experience within eCommerce and/or omnichannel retail environments
  • Proven ability to manage suppliers and negotiate complex commercial and credit terms
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams
  • Strategic, commercial thinker with strong analytical capability and a critical mindset
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite (strong Excel/Sheets skills required)
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills to drive initiatives across multiple stakeholders

Who will excel

You thrive in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment and balance creativity with commercial discipline. You are confident making data-backed decisions, have a sharp fashion eye, and lead by example. You are hands-on, proactive, and passionate about building brands that customers love.

At Namshi/noon, we challenge convention, move fast, and aim high. If these values resonate with you, you'll enjoy the journey with us.

**Due to the high volume of applications received, only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.**
