As Senior Buyer for Ulta Beauty, you'll curate an irresistible beauty destination, managing multi-million product portfolios across cosmetics, skincare, fragrance, haircare and emerging beauty categories. You'll negotiate with global beauty giants, discover breakthrough brands, and create trend-setting assortments that captivate GCC's sophisticated beauty consumers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop strategic buying plans aligned with local market trends and consumer preferences
- Lead category success with brand selection, product launches and assortment planning strategies across multiple brands
- Build and maintain relationships with beauty brands and emerging suppliers
- Analyze performance metrics to optimize inventory, margins, and sell-through rates
- Collaborate with marketing teams to execute impactful product launches and campaigns
- Lead cross-functional teams to ensure seamless product flow from sourcing to shelf
Qualifications & Requirements:
- 5+ years of beauty retail buying experience with brands
- Deep understanding of the GCC beauty market dynamics and consumer behavior
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in retail planning systems
- Proven track record of delivering profitable growth and margin expansion
- Excellent negotiation abilities and supplier relationship management
- Cultural awareness and adaptability in diverse market environments
- Fluent use of the English Language- additional fluency of the Arabic language is preferred
