C++ Engineer – Low Latency Trading Systems (HFT)

Dubai/EU/Remote

***Will be fully remote until further notice regarding current Middle East conflicts***

TCG have partnered with a high-growth trading technology business building ultra-low latency infrastructure, now looking to scale their C++ engineering team.

This is a strong opportunity for engineers who care about performance, efficiency, and working on systems where latency genuinely matters.

The role

You'll be focused on building and optimising core trading infrastructure, with a direct impact on system performance and execution speed.

Key responsibilities:

  • Build new market connectivity and trading infrastructure
  • Optimise high-load, low-latency C++ systems
  • Continuously reduce latency across critical components
  • Maintain and improve core platform performance and reliability
  • Work closely with engineering, trading, and data teams

What they're looking for

  • 3–5+ years experience in modern C++
  • Background in low-latency / high-performance systems
  • Strong fundamentals in algorithms, data structures, and system design
  • Solid understanding of networking (REST, WebSockets, etc.)

Nice to have:

  • Experience in trading, HFT, or financial systems
  • FIX protocol exposure
  • Experience with AWS, Kubernetes, Prometheus, Grafana
  • Python or Kafka exposure

Environment

You'll be working closely with both the Python team and trading operations in a highly collaborative setup.
