Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Construction Engineer to oversee and manage construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering, project management, and site supervision. You will be responsible for ensuring the successful execution of projects in compliance with local regulations, safety standards, and quality requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery within budget and scope.
- Oversee site activities, including resource allocation, subcontractor coordination, and construction progress monitoring.
- Ensure compliance with construction codes, regulations, and safety standards.
- Collaborate with design teams, architects, and consultants to address technical challenges.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor work quality and adherence to project specifications.
- Prepare and review project documentation, including reports, contracts, and permits.
- Implement risk management strategies and proactively resolve construction-related issues.
- Optimize construction methods and materials to improve project efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Lead, mentor, and train junior engineers and site staff.
- Ensure effective communication and coordination between stakeholders, including clients, consultants, and government authorities.
Experience & Qualifications
- Minimum 1215 years of relevant experience
- Proven experience in civil construction, infrastructure development, and high-rise buildings.
- Experience handling government projects is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of quality standards, health, and safety regulations in construction.
