We are seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Supervisor Civil Engineer to act as the Owner's Representative on site. The role focuses on supervising, inspecting, and reviewing the contractor's works, with particular emphasis on high-end finishing quality in commercial developments.
The ideal candidate will have solid experience in both site supervision , with a proven track record in delivering large-scale commercial projects
key responsibilities :
- Review contractors interim and final bills, verify quantities, and confirm accuracy against BOQs.
- Review and interpret project specifications, BOQs, drawings, and contract documents.
- Supervise and inspect on-site construction works, with strong focus on finishing quality and execution standards.
- Monitor project progress and support planning and scheduling activities.
- Review and approve shop drawings, finishing details, and material submittals in compliance with project specifications.
- Prepare and review material submittals to ensure compliance with approved standards and design intent.
- Ensure effective communication and coordination between the owner, contractors, and consultants to facilitate smooth project execution.
- Report site progress, quality issues, and technical observations to project management.
- Prepare and review cost estimates and pricing for civil and finishing works.
- Analyze unit rates and evaluate pricing in line with market benchmarks and project budgets.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from a reputable university.
- 35 years of relevant experience
- Proven experience in high-end finishing works for large-scale commercial projects.
- Strong knowledge of finishing materials, detailing, and execution standards.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and technical reporting skills.
