We are currently seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Civil Tendering Engineer to join our tendering team. The role is responsible for managing all civil/architectural aspects of technical and commercial tender submissions and ensuring complete alignment with client requirements, project specifications, and internal processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the preparation and packaging of civil/architectural components for tenders, including design-build projects.
• Coordinate and oversee quantity surveyors and draftsmen to ensure timely and complete tender submissions.
• Develop technical value engineering proposals that align with cost-efficiency and client requirements.
• Review and interpret project contracts and specifications to inform tender strategy.
• Collaborate with other departments (MEP, procurement, planning) to integrate accurate inputs into technical and commercial offers.
• Prepare and structure cost breakdowns (CBS) across all relevant trades.
• Participate in tender briefings, post-award meetings, and training sessions to collect and share key feedback.
• Negotiate with suppliers on both technical compliance and commercial competitiveness.
• Consolidate and submit final tender documents in line with client instructions and deadlines.
• Analyze actual project costs and schedules versus estimated budgets to refine future bidding accuracy.
• Supervise and mentor junior engineers within the tendering team.
• Act as a delegated point of contact in the absence of the Tendering Manager.
• Maintain confidentiality of all pricing, technical documentation, and tender communications.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• 35 years of hands-on experience in tendering and cost estimation, specifically for civil and architectural works.
• Strong knowledge of technical and commercial proposal preparation.
• Experience in preparing cost breakdown structures and coordinating cross-discipline inputs.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Highly organized, proactive, and detail-focused.
• Strong teamwork and leadership ability.
• Very good command of English.
