Senior Cloud Computing and Storage Administrator

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain enterprise virtualization platforms (Nutanix, VMware vSphere/ESXi, vCenter, Hyper-V, etc.)
• Architect and implement high availability (HA), disaster recovery (DR), and backup solutions.
• Manage virtual networking and storage integrations (vSAN, SAN, NAS, iSCSI, NFS)
• Monitor system performance and optimize resource utilization (CPU, memory, storage)
• Lead infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and consolidation projects.
• Troubleshoot complex virtualization and infrastructure issues.
• Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with organizational policies.
• Automate provisioning and operational tasks.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and standard operating procedures.
• Participate in on-call support and incident response as required.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 5+ years of experience in virtualization and infrastructure engineering.
• Strong expertise in VMware vSphere, ESXi, vCenter, Nutanix. Etc
• vSAN or enterprise storage solutions.
• Experience with enterprise backup and DR solutions.
• Advanced troubleshooting skills in enterprise environments.
• Experience with automation and scripting (PowerShell, PowerCLI, Python)

Preferred Qualifications

• Virtualization platforms certifications.
• Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Knowledge of cloud-native virtualization platforms.
• ITIL knowledge or certification.
