Senior Cloud Specialist

This is a contract position for a Senior Cloud Specialist role based on-site in Doha. The Senior Cloud Specialist will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cloud infrastructure solutions to support organizational goals. Daily tasks include evaluating cloud platforms, optimizing workloads, maintaining system efficiency, and ensuring security protocols are met. The role also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and deploy scalable, secure, and efficient cloud solutions while adhering to industry best practices.

• Experience in Cloud architecture, deployment, and management
• Proficiency in cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud
• Knowledge of cloud automation tools and scripting languages like Python or PowerShell
• Understanding of security best practices for cloud environments
• Ability to manage and optimize cloud resource utilization and cost
• Strong problem-solving skills with experience in troubleshooting and debugging cloud systems
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, or equivalent
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline
• Previous experience in the IT services industry and knowledge of industry-specific standards is a plus
