General Description of Role & Responsibilities:
- Review of contract terms and conditions for any new business opportunities and contract retenders identifying any key commercial risks and preparing legal summary as part of tender sign-off process
- Together with Commercial Director, lead contract negotiation process with client commercial interfacing with business development, operations and client commercial team as required
- Preparation of contract guides and presentations to improve contract awareness and enable operations teams to understand and effectively manage key commercial and contractual risks
- Undertake commercial audits against contract risk registers
- Act as a key focal point for all legal and commercial issues within the division and provide assistance and advice to members of the contract operations team
- Ensure that the contract operations teams are aware of key contractual commercial requirements, and implications of non-performance
Requirements:
- Bachelor`s degree in Civil/Architecture Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- Minimum 10 years of overall experience in construction projects, including at least 5 years in Commercial/Contract Management.
- Strong Knowledge of contract administration, cost control, claims management, and commercial reporting.
- Solid understanding pf procurement processes, variation orders, and risk management.
- Very good English language skills (written and spoken) - mandatory.
- Experience in large-scale infrastructure, commercial, or residential projects is preferred.
