Job Title: Senior Compliance Officer - Client Acceptance (12 Month Contract)
About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced Senior Compliance Officer to join a reputable bank in the UAE on a 12 month contract. This role will focus on client acceptance and advisory compliance activities, providing exposure to key compliance functions within a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct client acceptance reviews, due diligence, and advisory checks to ensure compliance with AML, KYC, and regulatory requirements
- Perform transaction monitoring and sanction screening in line with UAE regulations
- Support anti-bribery, anti-corruption, and other regulatory compliance initiatives
- Prepare and maintain compliance reports, documentation, and submissions for regulatory authorities
- Liaise with internal teams and regulators to ensure compliance standards are consistently met
Key Requirements:
- Proven compliance experience within UAE banks, with a focus on client onboarding and acceptance
- Strong knowledge of UAE regulatory frameworks and compliance best practices
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and deliver under tight deadlines
- Relevant certifications such as CAMS, ICA, or equivalent preferred
