Provide senior leadership and full accountability for construction execution across assigned projects, ensuring alignment with approved scope, contractual obligations, and organizational objectives.
Establish and drive construction strategies, execution plans, methodologies, and sequencing to achieve optimal project outcomes.
Proactively identify construction risks and implement mitigation measures to safeguard schedule, cost, quality, and safety performance.
Project Planning, Control & Delivery
Lead the development, implementation, and monitoring of detailed construction schedules in coordination with Project Management and Planning teams.
Oversee daily site operations, assess progress against milestones, and initiate corrective actions to address delays, productivity issues, or resource constraints.
Ensure effective coordination between engineering, procurement, and site teams to maintain uninterrupted construction progress.
Technical & Engineering Governance
Review and approve IFC, shop, and construction drawings to ensure constructability, compliance, and practical execution.
Lead resolution of complex technical, constructability, and sequencing challenges in collaboration with consultants and engineering teams.
Ensure timely preparation, submission, tracking, and approval of all construction deliverables, procedures, and method statements.
Commercial, Procurement & Resource Management
Oversee preparation of purchase requisitions and support technical and commercial evaluation of subcontractors, suppliers, and service providers.
Ensure timely mobilization of manpower, materials, equipment, and subcontractors in line with project requirements.
Optimize resource utilization to achieve cost efficiency and productivity targets.
Stakeholder, Client & Interface Management
Act as the primary senior construction representative with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and relevant authorities.
Manage construction-related correspondence, site instructions, technical clarifications, and variation inputs in coordination with the Project Manager.
Maintain strong professional relationships to facilitate approvals, resolve issues, and support project continuity.
Quality, HSE & Regulatory Compliance
Ensure all construction activities comply with approved Quality Management Systems, HSE policies, ISM requirements, and applicable statutory regulations.
Drive a strong safety culture through leadership, enforcement of safe work practices, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Ensure readiness for audits, inspections, and regulatory reviews, and close all non-conformances effectively.
People Leadership & Performance Management
Lead, mentor, and develop construction teams, site engineers, supervisors, and subcontractor personnel.
Set clear performance expectations, monitor delivery, and promote accountability and continuous improvement.
Foster a collaborative, high-performance construction environment aligned with company values and best practices.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related construction discipline.
Professional certification in Project or Construction Management is preferred.
HSE-related training or certification is an added advantage.
10+ years of experience in construction projects.
5+ years of experience in a senior construction management or leadership role.
Demonstrated expertise in construction planning, execution, and site operations management.
Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to direct multidisciplinary teams and subcontractors.
In-depth knowledge of construction methodologies, sequencing, and constructability best practices.
Solid understanding of contracts administration, quality standards, HSE regulations, and statutory compliance.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and risk mitigation capabilities.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
High level of time management, adaptability, and ability to deliver results under pressure.
